What this AI comment generator does

Most people don't struggle with what they think about a post. They struggle with the blank reply box. This tool gives you a starting point. You paste the post, it reads what the post says, and it writes six different replies that point at something specific in it: a claim, a step, a number, a joke.

The replies vary on purpose. Some are one line, some are two sentences, and at least one asks a real question, because questions are what turn a comment into a conversation. By design, the comment AI leaves out hashtags, links and self-promotion. Those are the things that make a comment look like spam, and they rarely help.

The generator doesn't connect to any account and can't post, like or follow anything. You read the options, pick one, rewrite it in your own words, and post it by hand. That keeps you in control of what goes out under your name.

Kinds of comments you can write

The five tones cover most of what people need to say in a comment section. Here is how each one tends to come out.

Supportive replies

For a friend's launch, a creator's milestone or a customer's photo of your product. The good ones name what you liked instead of saying "love this". "The before and after on slide 4 is wild" lands better than "amazing work".

Questions that start a thread

The Curious tone writes questions the author can actually answer: how long something took, what they would do differently, which tool they used. Authors tend to reply to questions, and every reply puts your name back in front of their audience.

Comments that add something

Thoughtful and Expert replies add a tip, a related example or a gentle correction. These are the comments people like and save, and they're the best way to get noticed by an author's followers without pitching anything.

Light, funny replies

The Funny tone writes short, friendly one-liners that play off the post. Humor reads differently in every niche, so check that the joke fits the room before you post it.

Replies on your own posts

Paste a comment someone left on your post and generate replies to it. This helps when you have dozens of comments to answer after a post takes off, or when a customer asks something you need to answer carefully.

How tone changes by platform

The same reply can be perfect on one app and odd on another. A quick guide:

  • Instagram and TikTok: short and warm. An emoji next to a specific observation works; an emoji on its own says nothing.
  • YouTube: viewers read comments while the video plays. Reference a moment, add a tip, or ask the creator a question about the video.
  • X (Twitter): replies are public posts. Most accounts get 280 characters per reply (X developer docs), and X Premium subscribers can write longer ones (X Help). Add a fact, a take or a question, and skip the "great thread" filler.
  • LinkedIn: a sentence or two of professional substance. Share how something worked in your own job instead of praising the post.
  • Facebook and Threads: conversational and personal. Plain language and a real question work best.

Use AI comments responsibly

AI comments are fine when a person reads, edits and posts each one. They become a problem when they're used to flood comment sections. Every major platform says so in its rules:

  • YouTube's spam policy covers high-volume, repetitive or deceptive comments posted to drive traffic or engagement.
  • Meta's spam rules, which apply to Instagram and Facebook, cover engaging at very high frequency, whether manually or automatically, and buying, selling or exchanging engagement.
  • X's automation rules don't allow automated replies sent to posts found through keyword searches alone.

Platforms can restrict, remove or suspend accounts that behave like this, so the shortcut costs more than it saves. A few simple rules keep you safe:

  • Post comments one at a time, by hand, on posts you actually read.
  • Edit every comment. Never paste the same one under many posts.
  • Leave links and "check out my page" out of comments on other people's posts.
  • Say so if you work for the brand you're defending or recommending.
  • Don't write fake reviews or pretend to be a customer.

Who uses a comment generator

  • Creators who want to answer every comment on a busy post without repeating themselves.
  • Small business owners replying to customers between everything else they do.
  • Social media managers who comment from a brand account and need to stay on tone.
  • People writing in a second language who want a natural-sounding starting point.
  • Anyone who wants to engage more but freezes at the reply box.

Spend less time on the posting side

Comments keep a conversation going, but they work best when you're also posting regularly. That's the part ViralFarm handles. It's an AI social media workspace where you plan, generate and schedule posts to TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, YouTube and X from one queue.

You can turn a link, a topic or pasted text into TikTok and Instagram slideshows, Pinterest pins or text posts, adjust them in the editor, and schedule them for the week. If you already work in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, you can do the same through ViralFarm's MCP server. ViralFarm doesn't post comments for you; it keeps your own posts going out on schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AI comment generator free?

Yes. You can use it on this page without an account. There is a daily limit per visitor so the tool stays fast for everyone.

Does the tool post comments for me?

No. It only writes suggestions. It never connects to your accounts, so you choose what to post and you post it yourself.

Will platforms know I used AI?

The platform spam rules cited on this page target behavior: how many comments an account posts, how fast, whether they repeat, and whether they push links. A specific comment you edited and posted by hand looks like any other comment. Mass-posting generated comments is what gets accounts limited.

Which platforms does it work for?

Any comment section with text: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, blogs and forums. The YouTube, Instagram and X versions of this tool are tuned to those apps.

How long are the comments?

Each suggestion stays under 500 characters, and most are one or two sentences. The set mixes short one-liners with slightly longer replies so you can pick the length that fits.

Can I use it to reply to comments on my own posts?

Yes. Paste the comment you received instead of a post, pick a tone, and add your angle, such as the answer to their question. You get six ways to reply.

What should I put in the "Your angle" box?

Anything only you know: a result you got, a step that tripped you up, or the question you want to ask. Comments built on a real detail read as genuine, and the generator works that detail into every option.
